Rhubarb - Strawberry jam!




This recipe is enough to fill 4 to 5 jars.

Ingredients:

500 grams rhubarb, cut in pieces of 2 cm.
500 grams strawberries, cut in pieces.
1 kg jam sugar.
Half a lemon.
Jam jars (don't forget the lids!), well cleaned and rinsed with hot soda water.

Heat in a pan the rhubarb, strawberries, jam sugar and the lemon juce. Let it boil for about 5 minutes.
Fill the cleaned jars with the hot jam, and put the lids on them. Put the jars for about 5 minutes upside down.
Let them cool completely, they stay unopend good for a year.
If you're creative you can decorate the jars with little selfmade labels!
